Itinerary : Munnar tea plantations, Thekaddy (Periyar) wild life, Cultural dance show, house boats on backwaters.

Day 1 : Arrive at Cochin

Upon arrival at Cochin Airport you will be met by our officer who will brief you about the tour. Later you will be transferred to your hotel. Check into the hotel and relax for the rest of day.

Day 2 : Cochin

Today you will be taken on a half-day tour of Cochin – visiting Mattancherry Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church & the famous Chinese Fishing Nets. The rest of the day will be at leisure or visit the Jew Town for your shopping. Later this evening you will be taken to enjoy a performance of colorfully costumed Kathakali Dance.

Day 3 : Cochin - Munnar

This morning you will be driven to Munnar (140 KM / 4 hours) a hill station at a height of 1525 meters; Munnar offers a breathtaking view of the landscaped hills draped in folds of green carpet of tea gardens. Anamudi peak, the highest peak in South India is situated here. Munnar’s serene atmosphere, silver streams and pleasant climate welcomes you to have a whiff of the cool mountain breeze. Rest of the day will be at leisure or you may explore the area by walk.

Day 4 : Munnar

Day at leisure or explore with escorted local guide to visit Eravikulam National Park, Tata Tea Museum & other places of interest.

Day 5 : Munnar - Periyar

Today you will be driven to Thekaddy (110 k m/ 3 ½ hours) set in the green hills of spice plantations and home of the Periyar Wildlife Reserve - a sanctuary for a multitude of wild elephants bears, bison, deer, boar and the great Indian Tiger. You will arrive at the plantation retreat early in the afternoon. Thekaddy being the home of spice growers we have added a spice plantations tour that will give you a complete understanding of various spices.

Day 6 : Periyar (Thekaddy)

Various activities can be experienced like elephant rides, bamboo rafting, forest trekking, Village tours, full day jungle safari

Day 7 : Periyar (Thekkady) - Alleppey

This morning after your breakfast you will be driven to reach the boarding point for the ‘kettuvallam’, Houseboats of Kerala. Enjoy a backwater cruise, lazing in a small country boat as it meanders through the tranquil network of water canals, dotted with busy hamlets, lush green paddy fields. overnight on the House Boat.

Day 8 : Alleppey - Mararikulam (Marari Beach)

After a leisurely breakfast disembark from house boat and you will be driven a short distance to reach the beautiful beach with white sands.

Day 9 : Marari beach

Full day at leisure and enjoy the sun. Optional you can try the world famous Ayurveda Massage

Day 10 : Depart

This day brings us to the end of this short tour. You will be transferred back to Cochin airport for your flight.
